Guru Poornima: Now a days sacred path doesn’t always require a mountain, an ashram, or a robe.

Guru is a term in Sanskrit, which means ‘dispeller of darkness.’

This is the day when, in the Vedic tradition, it is said that Shiva became the first Guru and he transmitted the first Yogic teachings to his first disciples, the Saptarishis, from which all great teachers of the Vedic sciences have descended.
Guru poornima falls on Dakshinayana, the 6-month period between summer solstice and winter solstice, representing the time of inward-turning and stabilization.

In the spiritual world, even before human teachers came into our lives, there existed the celestial Guru—Brihaspati, the teacher of the gods. In Vedic astrology, Brihaspati or Jupiter represents wisdom, guidance, and the higher purpose of life. On Guru Purnima, the energy of this divine teacher is especially active, blessing us with insight and clarity.

☀️गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णुः गुरु देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुः साक्षात् परब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥

Meaning: The Guru is Brahma, the creator; Vishnu, the preserver; and Shiva, the destroyer. The Guru is the very embodiment of the Supreme Divine.
Salutations to the Guru.

In our daily lives, the Guru may appear in many forms—a spiritual master, a parent, a life lesson, or even our inner voice.

🌟गुरु गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े, काके लागूं पाय
बलिहारी गुरु आपने, गोविन्द दियो बताए।।

On this day, do meditating, or journaling, or simply sitting in silence that can help us in receiving the deeper messages to our souls.

Because the real Guru doesn’t only exist in temples or scriptures—
✨ The real Guru lives in silence, reflection, pain, healing, love, and awakening… all inside us.

Most important, It's a time to thank not just those who taught us, but also life itself, which keeps showing us the way through love, loss, and learning.

✨ At Unfolding Grace – A Journey Within, may you always find the courage to walk your sacred path that is your Inner Journey.

On this Guru Purnima, may the light of your inner Guru awaken fully, guiding you through love, truth, and stillness.✨

With reverence and grace,
Happy Guru Purnima 🌕
